How to Keep Track of all those Irritating but Essential Missed Notifications on an Android
We all did it – you get so many notifications dashing from all media platforms that you simply go delete, delete, delete, whoops! necessary data gone! If only there was some way to keep track of all notifications. fortunately, you do not have to worry about that.
Well, there’s some way to track you missed notifications! you’ll actually keep a log of all notifications for future reference. There are 2 ways to do this.

Create a Widget

One method is to create a widget to keep a reference of all notifications. You will have to check whether this works on your phone – it does not function on some devices like Samsung phones.

This is what you do: Press and keep in on an empty space somewhere on your home screen. Select Widgets, and then Settings after that drag the icon to your home screen and place it anywhere. A menu pops up asking for instructions for this shortcut. Scroll to Notification Log and that’s it – you now have a reference log with a shortcut on your home screen! If the notification is still current, it will appear in white, if not, it will be grey. Just tap on any notification and the necessary info will pop up.

Install an App

If this setting is absent from your widgets, you will have to take a different route: install an app to do the work. You could try Notification Saver (for devices using Android 4.4 or higher).

You will have the added advantage of being able to export this log when you need to. It may be a good idea to install this app anyway (even if you are able to use the first method), simply because it gives you that little extra control which may come in handy someday!

Many people get stuck with widget creation and end up getting disappointed. If your phone does not function with the widget, install an app to help you save all your missed notifications.
